Fine Art Commissions

Looking to add some beauty to your life or the lives of others?

Seeking a work of art that is more than just decorative in nature?

If you’ve ever had the opportunity to see an original piece of art verses it’s corresponding mass-produced print, you have probably realized that nothing compares to the original.

Sacred art in particular is created to draw our hearts and minds higher. To inspire awe, beauty, and wonder all while glorifying God. When prayerfully created by an artist (and prayerfully approached by viewers) sacred art has the ability to act as a “meeting place of the heart” for Christ and viewers.

Watercolors + Charcoal Sketches

Affordable option for families and gift-givers!

$2.25/sq in

Suggested sizes: 5x7, 8x10, 11x14

Basic Oil Painting

Higher detail heirloom works prayerfully made on canvas. Since these pieces take time, I generally need 4-9 months notice in advance of any due date.

  • From Photo: $2.50/sq in. You send me the photo….I paint what I see!

  • From Concept/Idea: $3.00/sq in. Devotional in nature, these pieces require phone consultations, mockups, and prayer to turn a vague concept/idea into a finished painting.

Suggested Sizes: 11x14, 12x16, 16x20, 18x24, 24x30

Grande Scale + Altar Pieces

These large oil paintings serve a much deeper purpose than decorative paintings. Rather, they are meant as invitations for viewers to draw deeper into prayer. They inspire awe, beauty, and wonder, serving as a “meeting place of the heart” for Christ and viewers to meet.

Due to the difficult nature on my part of accurately capturing any concept/vision you would like created at such a large scale, commissions for this tier include as many phone consultations and mockups as needed. These pieces do take a significant amount of time so please contact me at least 6 months in advance of any due date.

  • $3.50-$4.00/sq in. dependent upon subject matter

Sizes: all sizes above 24x30

I am happy to complete commissions which will be shipped outside of the United States. But please note that the value of the commissioned art must meet a minimum of $350 USD. An extra $50 service fee will also be required to make up for the extra time it takes for me to figure differences in international currency, canvas sizes, contacting international postal services in the case of shipping delays, etc.

International Commissions:

Commission Process

  1. Interested in a commission? Contact me for a quote through this link.

  2. Consultation: Once you fill out a form for a quote, I will get in touch with you via phone and, together, we can talk about ideas, budget, timeline, etc.

  3. Proposal and Deposit: Within a few days, I will send you a detailed proposal. Once the proposal is agreed upon, you can secure your commission with a 50% deposit. This not only helps me pay for materials needed for your painting, such as canvas and brushes, but also lets me know that you are serious about your desire for a commission. Likewise, you know that I will be serious about completing it!

  4. Rough Draft: Brainstorming continues! For medium and high tiers, I will create a “rough draft.” This will either be a very simple sketch via graphite, watercolor, or even photoshop, depending on the subject. You get to play an important role in the addition or subtraction of any details, before I officially start painting.

  5. Painting begins! I will send you progress photos and updates as I go along. Painting could take anywhere from several days to several months depending on the piece and if you have a requested deadline. Painting and prayer intermingle for me, so I would be happy to take any special intentions you may have to the Lord as I paint, and will ask that you pray for me as well. Regardless of the subject matter, I believe this prayer aspect is what truly makes sacred art…well…“sacred.”

  6. Final product! I will send you a watermarked photo of your painting before varnishing in case there are any small changes you would like to request.

  7. Delivery: If you live within an hour of me, I would absolutely LOVE to hand deliver your original painting. Otherwise, your painting will be shipped with an additional packaging/shipping fee. A certificate of authentication will be included along with a hand written letter and/or reflection (depending on subject matter)

**Please note: Since I own the copyright to all my paintings, I also reserve the right to create and sell prints of those original paintings. However, I WILL NOT create prints of any painting that is personal to you, such as portraits, houses, pets, etc. **
