PREORDERS OPEN: All pieces will be shipped out the week of April 7.
This fine art print of my latest oil painting, Haven, offers a unique take on the term “Mantle of Mary” by featuring the Blessed Virgin Mary with children under her mantle while also keeping Catholic faith formation in mind. Originally painted live at a charity event in support of Catholic School Education, the three children under Mary’s mantle represent three important aspects of faith-based education.
The child reading represents the academic aspect of faith formation.
The child praying represents the faith-based aspect of faith formation.
The child resting represents the sense of security and rest we as parents and educators can encourage our children to find within our Catholic Faith.
