Mantle of Mary Art Print
The term "Mantle of Mary" has become near and dear to my heart since becoming a mother. Though I am a stay-at-home mom now, I did work for a bit after having my first child. There was something about asking Mary to "be a mother to my baby when I could not" that brought me much comfort when experiencing that first-time-mom separation anxiety. Likewise, Our Lady under the title of "Our Lady of Guadalupe" has always been a favorite of mine, (hence her clothing). I created this piece keeping in mind those who have experienced miscarriage or the loss of a child in mind.
